HOUSING RESEARCH GROWS

26.04.04 :: Terrence Aschoff, Manager CHRANZ

The Centre for Housing Research, Aotearoa New Zealand, (“CHRANZ”) has made further investments into much needed housing research. “Our goal is to address the research needs and gaps in the total New Zealand housing market”, says CHRANZ Manager, Terrence Aschoff.

“The latest research commissioned by CHRANZ is seen as a strategic investment,” says Mr. Aschoff. It is expected that the recommendations required from this research will provide the basis for a two to three year strategic housing research programme that is relevant to housing sector stakeholders. The programme will contribute towards CHRANZ growing investment into housing research and informing New Zealand’s housing policy and practice over the next five years.
